MEDiC's goals are twofold: first, to improve the health of the underserved in the Madison area and second, to educate University of Wisconsin health professions students.
The program currently integrates students from the following schools and programs across UW-Madison:
Interested in Volunteering? MEDiC welcomes physicians from all medical fields and specialities to serve as volunteers in our clinics. Both attending and intern/resident physicians are eligible to participate. Unfortunately, we cannot have other health professionals staff our clinics at this time.
Physicians who have an appointment with the UW are eligible to volunteer immediately - those without a UW faculty appointment are invited to apply for a volunteer appointment. All Physicians who would like to volunteer for MEDiC should email medic@med.wisc.edu.
MEDiC operates on a small budget and in the past few years has been able to raise all of the funds necessary to provide patient care. Many of these funds come from direct donations, and MEDiC welcomes gifts of all size.

These students all work together to provide health care to those who who currently have no access.
You can make a secure online contribution through the UW Foundation website. All gifts will be acknowledged in writing by the UW Foundation with a letter that can be used for tax purposes.
